Esperia

Esperia is a modular island sofa designed by IAMMI, directly inspired by sculpture.
Its generous, welcoming volumes create an almost plastic presence in space: a soft, amorphous yet balanced form conceived to be experienced like a large domestic sculpture. The project stems from a careful craft process, where Italian craftsmanship and skilled workmanship shape generous curves, giving life to a piece of furniture that combines formal research with comfort.
The collection consists of two main modules, a pouf and two backrests: freely combinable elements that allow for multiple configurations, from linear arrangements to large central islands, as well as more fluid and informal compositions that naturally adapt to the space. The Moon Promenade materic jacquard fabric by Rubelli, highly textured and tactile, reinforces this sculptural identity, enhancing the three-dimensionality of the volumes and the tactile quality of the surfaces.
